Meet Ashley Budelli
My commitment to public service is rooted in a multi-generational journey of seeking opportunity. I am the granddaughter of Louisianans who fled the Jim Crow South during the Great Migration, coming to California to build a life defined by dignity and hard work. Raised by a single mother and nurse, I saw firsthand the sacrifices required to sustain a family and a community. This foundation of resilience led me to Howard University, where my education at "The Mecca" instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to my community. I returned home to Daly City with a clear mission: to honor my family’s legacy by ensuring our city remains a place where every family—regardless of their background or bank account—has the chance to flourish.
As a lifelong Daly City resident, I believe the government should be responsible to the people. I envision a sustainable infrastructure, affordable housing, and a safe place where working families can thrive in Daly City. My campaign is about people coming together to make a difference.
